A Family Tradition of Travel
For nearly 40 years, Custom Holidays has been more than a travel company—we've been a family business built on a simple belief: the best memories are made together.
Our story began in 1986 when Sue Biggs escorted 26 friends on a trip to Hawaii. What started as Christian Holidays soon grew into Custom Holidays, as more travelers discovered the joy of exploring the world with friends who quickly became family.
Travel has always been at the heart of our family. Sue's passion for creating unforgettable experiences inspired the company from the very beginning, while her husband, Ron, brought a lifetime of service, leadership, and people-first values after retiring from the United States Marine Corps. Together, they built a company centered on relationships, trust, and meaningful experiences.
The Next Generation
In 2022, Sue's daughter, Wendy Baggett, took the helm of Custom Holidays, continuing the family tradition into its next generation. Before becoming owner, Wendy spent more than 25 years as a travel advisor and explored over 100 countries around the world. Those experiences reinforced what our family has always believed—that travel isn't just about the places you visit. It's about the people you meet, the stories you share, and the connections you make along the way.
Today, a third generation helps carry that vision forward. As our Tour Planner, Christina Werner carefully designs each itinerary with one goal in mind: creating journeys that bring people together through authentic experiences, thoughtful planning, and memorable moments.

We believe travel has an incredible way of turning strangers into friends, friends into lifelong travel companions, and unforgettable moments into stories you'll tell for years to come.
