Rosary Requiem Murder Mystery Tour
Tour Overview
This is a tale of mystery and intrigue, seasoned with the vibrant spice of Detroit’s Mexicantown. The air is thick with more than just the scent of delicious food; a chilling fear has gripped the community.
Inspired by the dark and twisted film The Rosary Murders, our story begins at the imposing Most Holy Redeemer Church — the very church where the movie was filmed! In the tour’s mystery, Father Rafael, a beloved figure known for his progressive sermons and gentle spirit, has been found dead, a rosary clutched in his cold hand. The scene is a chilling echo of the Rosary Killer’s signature. But the Rosary Killer was caught years ago… wasn’t he?
All clues point to a web of deceit surrounding Father Rafael. Was he a saint, as everyone claimed, or was he entangled in something far more sinister?
Follow the story through neighborhood stops at Duly’s Place Coney Island, La Fiesta Ice Cream, Mexicantown Bakery, and La Jalisciense Supermercado y Taqueria, with included food and a margarita along the way.
